GB Blast & other things !

The no of calls i got that day from ppl to ensure i am safe….mostly from ppls havent talked from long time… brought me tears.. and also the kind of hatred i had developed  for this inhuman activities carried out by these terrorits. The thing is that i used to live very near to the place since i enterd into the city … and just left the lovely place few months ago to move nearby.

The spirit of the city took no time to get in the pace again…defying their intentions.

On the lighter note… I tried watching few desi  flicks like  “Tum Mile”  and “Chance pe Dace” etc  and while in process of watching them the heroes seemed inspired by hollywood actors… So resemblance i figured out is …

Emraan Hashmi — Acting or rather copying Collin Farrell (Alexander,Recruit,Miami Vice Fame ) – I like his acting :)

Shahid Kapoor –  Acting i would not say copying TOM Cruise of 90 ‘s — I am fan of his acting too.

John Abrahm –  Rememblance to Matthew Mconaughey (of Sahara fame ) – I am not a big fan of his acting.

San Franscisco

Well!! Well!! Well!!

Just writing this blog to post my thoughts as i made to US.. Well no big deal now a days.. u be into software..and u get a chance…to make an escapade into a foreign country for which more than u ur family is proud :) while relatives get a topic to discuss…not everybody’s ;) .

But it is lil special… for 2 reasons.

First simply..cos me being the first guy in family to go abroad except one of my Farthest Aunty from whom we had been hearing her farthest travel (she came to mumbai to meet Rajesh Khanna in 70′s) which ws the achievement till date and we all cousins sisters and brothers had heard it numerously whenever our families used to  meet in social-family gatherings.

Secondly .. cos the luck not ended there only …I happened to meet a girl on Dubai Air Port and luckily got a seat just beside her and rest is wonderful story .

Wait for the updates!

300_6254we are happy i mn (me, golu , gunnu, mamu and deepu) .. we all roomies cum frens .

The occasion is deepu getting married  in a week actually 5 days after…. After 2 long years of hustle to find a right match he’s found a girl of his like. We kept pestering him for all these times wen you will do the altar.. and he kept on making short term plans saying in nxt 6 mnths… which eventually turned out to be 2 years.

Well deepu is ma CB — Chuddy Buddy. We  studied together upto high school and then parted ways in different college , but got again together , Many thanks to IT and also the world is round with india seems merry go round.  Still remember we saw RNBDJ with shahrukh being in Punjab Power yearning for his lovelife. And the story here is not ,much different except the tragic part of the heroine. I remember with so many difficulties coming his way(some due to me) they are gonna be life partners..grt.

To start with… being an Arranged marriage after the boys visit to the prospect house the parents of the girl came to visit our house. With they reaching city on wee hours deepu had lost his cell –the only contact btw them and him as We lost our prized possessions earlier yesterday..(Me sleeping in the room and somebody happily theft :( . But inventions of modern world keeps you alive in fighting at the time of despair.

The second was they came the saw and they were content. I woke up to see them in the house as guests and for the bachelors like us .. we had made plans to impress them. But.. Maid hadnt came from last 2 days and the flat was dirty like hell. . Kudos right time to test. I mn they were seeing us in our worse. I guess they were expecting these from us and wer quite ready.

In morning deepu asked them what they want in Breakfast as if we are good in cooking (i guess we are) and the asked abt the options …. i was cursing him from nxt room as i was the one who has to cook… My culinary abilites are otherwise grt and ppl (mostly my roomies) are fond of myy cooking. May be cos they think atleast i make things edible.  They asked for POHA… and i was ready. I fought to make the dish so good that they will be impressed but …. i dont know may performance anxiety or what  the it became watery … I said hell  ;) . After a while deepu came and saw that.. yeeled abe tu meri shaadi tudwa ke rahega.. maine kaha unko jaakar khila … ho sakta hai wo hamare dard ko dekhkar khud bahud samajh jaaye… aur atujhe apna damaad bana lein  :) .He coolly went away and asked them to get ready to eat BF outside. And finally i saved my soul.

Funny memories…. which added twist…. in an otherwise dull meeting……. and i guess was the reason they agreed.

Grt going He is all set for getting married or ME-RRIED ..Many best wishes.

Theiving peace away

thief2I dont know if there’s any word like ‘theiving’ but surely it display’s the feeling it generates wen it takes peace away. The kind of mental peace you have in everydays life  even though you had to storm around to get the important things done within time in to meet ends and you stay calm .You are satisfied somewhere inside cos all those have evolved as a result of your efforts only.

But somethings are out of control and they happen unexpectedly leaving a state of happiness or sorrow for which you are not at all prepared. You get out of mind but due some experience you manage to sail through. It happened one bad morning few days ago that i woke up due to screaming of my friend only to know that somebody entered early morning and theft away wallet and cellphone of both of us.The thing happned wen i was sleeping and our door as usual was just stuck up.I dont know how it happened but it took away all the peace for few days cos ur wallet consisted of debit/credit cards some other important stuffs like licence, voters id card,Health insurance card all gone which has to be reapplied and follow ups to get the things again leaving you lil disturbed. But thats a experience . And you need to start again :) .

Of all the things i lost i am missing by Blackberry the most :( .

Indian Navy at colaba(Facts,Secrets unfolded)

•June 8, 2008 • 1 Comment

INDIAHi All,

wuuuuuuuuuuunnn….. It was Navy ship horn blowing last weekend.

We along my freinds..went to a visit Navy docyard.. Let me tell u first the place is in colaba located south of mumbai. As on the way to it initail excitement building up , the time we reached  the lions gate(it is named so),the entrance it almost doubled on seeing the navy officers in their cool white and trademark navy blue uniform.

We had been invited by one of my college time classmate. He is sub lieutenant there. On seeing him on the gate in uniform.. i began wondering abt him , as in college he used to be guy nn his own with few freinds mostly a left out.. with only frieds in our group.. no one of us ever tht that he wuld make to defence, due to his unconventional ways… not focussed either on studies or anything related to career though we were awre of his potential..we were lil comprehend.. basically a  shy guy with interests in chess.. computers.. and little in gyming [:D],ppl make fun of him. But here he was standing tall, confident and with his own car Gr8 i said.

We all occupied the little maruti 800 and  slowly moved into the traffic less roads to the ship named viraat (A big ship used to carry aircrafts and torpedos before it was decommissioned bought by india from britishers) now converted to a standstill musuem. For those who have not seen it actually, just to give its stastics it is about 150 m in length and 60-70 m broad. As we went inside we saw the ppl saluting each other. I asked abt the way they salute and he showed the way a different one than army or aircraft as all have different ways.. the navy’s is shortest one. We went inside to find tht there were a lots of photos. all very old some dates back before our independence.. with all yesteryears prime minister and president. Models of other ships of indian fleet were there. Now whats a fleet– IT IS combination distinct war ships typically a carrier, destroyer, the navy have .

We moved on to come across a series of war Hathiyaars.. the arms like bullet, rifles, missiles, torpedos, sea diving suits armoury  of copters.. the honour medals for bravery in defence , the models of indian navy operations was glorious. As afternoon.. the inside was hot and humid we went on to see the inside hospital with engine room . Lastly we moved on to see the top.. which was huge space for aircrafts landing . A clean runaway with a space u can definetly play.. basketball, volleyball, etc. We staeted to click a pic but stopped by an official who adanced terrificly frigtening one of our female freind. We then saw a diff kind of flag which was like a white rectangle flag with red strips crossing each other perpendicularly from center.  and our indian flag at the top rectangle out of 4 rec. We were statnding at the edge just imagining the sailing speed in livecondition as we had seen in the titanic .

As it was afternoon we tht to move on and have lunch only to satisfy the  hunger we had developed then forgot due to excitement. The officer offered us a snack break as a  quick  option to escape hunger..and then we drove back to the ultimate machine i always had dreamt of being inside… IT was none other than the fascinating , impressive sight of a ::SUBMARINE:: . The state of art equipment that we saw made us amazed to go into the secretive missions we have seen in movies of james bond, world war etc. now we were there .. on the board. Wow… the slender but a long ad big as we had not thought it earlier it was floating on the surface. As india has 2 kinds of subamrine one is british, another is german. We were on the surface of british submarine the battrey were on the charge. i thought i shuld go inside see the secret palce on how ppl reside and work i asked my freind and he said that w’ll go we all excited went inside from a big ladder and then found that upper orifice of the sandwiched made of submarine. we moved into the the dining room cool it ws having TV and a cool hindi movie was playing we dined on chips, mad angles etc with cool sip of orange squash . We got a pungent smell of hydrogen, unable to resist it, an office r told us that if only the % of H2 will increase beyond 2%  the  ship will explode .. we were really scared. We quickly finished the chips.. and began exploring the interiors to see the every facility of sleeping, playing, toilets etc… was exquisite.  Moving on we saw the torpedo room from where they launch missiles once the target is in range, there were 8 torpedos fully loaded.

The guy then started telling about their mission they are generally out for weeks.. for war patrol, practising the rounds inside the sea. They secretly monitor the ships of neighbouring countries, their fleet or ships movements so to keep eye on them and take their position at the time of holocast. This was amazing just imagine a guy inside a submarine.. travelling inside the sea monitoring targets trough periscope.. aquatic life is gr8. But how esy it seems its s tough job… and u need to be extreme fit to execute ur duty.

Well we then saw a lot of tecnology related to navigation and monitoring which i cant reveal. We then came up and were sweating .. just breathe of fresh air brought us back to life. We took some memorable..pics with the officer. We then moved to 2nd submarine.. initially we were reluctant to go inside as it is very conjusted , where you have  hardly place to move arounfd freely. But tht to give it a try only t found the much better architecture inside.. german as we know are pioneers.. in U-boats.. as they call the submarine. Taking a quick walk we cam outside … and finally out of the gate we thank him for the lovely visit of us. GR& experience…
